Welcome to the Cork Classical Guitar society where we welcome new members of all playing levels.
It is the society’s aim to improve musicianship amongst its members through monthly meetings. During the meetings we discuss anything classical guitar related including but certainly not limited to interpretation of pieces including fingerings, technique, gear, publications and much more.
The society also aims to promote classical guitar repertoire as such it would be great if each member has a monthly performance piece (though this is not absolutely necessary). There will be plenty of positive support for newer players.
We also try to organize gigs for visiting classical guitarists.
Meetings are held on the second Sunday of each month.
